3.2 Starting FDT

To start FDT, open the ‘Start’ menu of Windows



and select ‘Programs’ -> ‘Renesas’ -> ‘FLASH

Development Toolkit 3.1’, then the ‘FLASH Development Toolkit 3.1’ shortcut. The ‘Welcome’ dialog

box will open by default.

To create a new workspace, select ‘Create a new Project Workspace’ and click the ‘OK’ button. To open a

recent workspace, select ‘Open a recent project workspace’ and the workspace to be opened from the list

box. To open an existing workspace which is not in the list of recently used workspaces, select ‘Browse to

another project Workspace’. Finally, click the ‘OK’ button.
